Reporting to the Managing Director, the Launch Director (LD) is responsible for prospecting and lead communication efforts for the growth of BNI Canada regions. The role of the Launch Director (LD) is critical to the growth and success of the BNI Region. The LD is actively engaged in recruiting, sales & marketing, mentoring, and goal setting with potential Members of BNI. The LD is the primary resource for the applicants of a newly forming Chapter.
Identify New Chapter Opportunities
Collaborate with the Managing Director to identify geographical areas, venues, and potential applicants to target for future BNI Chapters.
Work with interested applicants and their prospects to provide an overview of the Launch Process and determine interest.
Market Interest Meetings on a regular basis to create a pipeline of interested applicants and engage in the sales process to develop group(s) to form new BNI Chapters.
Consistently attend networking events outside of BNI to identify and acquire qualified prospects.
Utilize approved Charter Process and Provide Ongoing Support to Applicants
Learn and follow approved Chapter Launch Process by completing Launch Training on BNI Business Builder prior to meeting with potential applicants. Attending in-person and Zoom Launch Training opportunities as provided.
Review weekly progress of Interest/Core Group. Coach and encourage the groups through formal and informal meetings to meet charter goals and timeline.
Achieve Key Milestones as outlined in Chapter Launch Program.
Foster a positive relationship between Forming Chapters and the Regional Support Team for smooth transition prior to Phase 3.
Participate in Weekly Success Calls with Managing Director to report status, successes, and challenges. The purpose of these calls is to work together to solve issues and remove roadblocks for the successful launch of new Chapters in the region.
Coach and inspire approved applicants to success in the areas of inviting and bringing visitors, adhering to the Attendance protocol for Forming Chapters, and following the BNI Code of Ethics.
Fairly and consistently enforce the Forming Chapter Expectations with each applicant.
